Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer position at Nearmap, responsible for leading developers in designing and implementing software solutions to drive business objectives and solve real-world problems.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in backend technologies including Go and/or C#
• Deep understanding of API design, cloud-native architectures, and observability tooling
• Proven experience leading backend engineering teams delivering scalable, production-grade APIs and platform services
• Empathetic and inclusive leader with strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working across time zones and distributed teams
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
