Job Description
The Animal Intake Technician position at the Nebraska Humane Society involves triaging animals, administering vaccinations and medications, and recording medical and behavioral observations. The technician will also perform daily sanitation and cleaning tasks, assist with euthanasia procedures, and provide superior care for all animals.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in an animal welfare agency
- Must be able to pass federal background check and work around controlled substances
- Display affection and compassion for animals and concern for their welfare
- Must adhere to highest ethical standards and possess trustworthiness, maturity, and sound judgment
