The Senior Manager: Transactional Banking will implement a strategy and manage transactional banking products to increase revenue and market share in Corporate and Investment Banking market segment. The role will assist the Executive in achieving sales targets through the execution of a defined sales plan in collaboration with channels support teams, business, transactional bankers and other key internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Develop a strategy regarding the seamless implementation of transactional banking services in Nedbank Namibia for Corporate and Investment Banking
- Ensure growth in transactional banking by identifying opportunities that are profitable and meet Nedbank's financial targets
- Provide advice to key business stakeholders by proactively flagging innovative, tactical and strategic issues for discussion and implementation
- Keep abreast of competitor activities as well as legislative and regulatory requirements by conducting market research in line with best practice and innovative thinking
- Drive commercialization on platforms
- Product and service Innovation / development - Biller Management, Payments and Collections, Escrow accounts, PSD7, BOP3 etc.
- Analyze, investigate and update Business Requirements Specifications on behalf of Business Units to ensure quality solutions will be delivered
- Improve service to stakeholders and clients by executing on pipeline, deal flow and transactions aligned with excellent standards and service
- Provide leadership to department to drive achievement of operational and strategic objectives by facilitating open discussions, consultation and information sharing
- Maintain departmental P&L
- Manage Service Level Agreements with all stakeholders through regular monitoring of efficiencies and engagement with stakeholders
- Create an environment of teamwork that inspires and motivates staff to perform and contribute to the success of the business, through engaging with staff (sharing information) and encouraging participation in decision making processes
- Encourage team to generate innovative ideas and share knowledge
- Create a client service culture through various required interventions
