Job Description
The Neighborhood House Association is seeking a Teacher to lead a classroom of toddler children. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of child development theories and practices, effective communication skills, and experience working with culturally and ethnically diverse groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or associate degree in Child Development/Early Childhood Education
- Child Development Teacher Permit or higher
- A minimum of one-year successful experience as a Child Development Center Teacher or equivalent teaching experience
- Computer literacy
- Current Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR
- Meets and maintains state law and county licensing requirements regarding employment in a child care center
