Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Financial Controller to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support the financial management, analysis, and control functions across our maritime shipping and vehicle logistics businesses within the Neptune Group.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, ACA, or CPA (completed or in progress) are advantageous.
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, auditing, or accounting. Experience in shipping / maritime, logistics or automotive is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English (a third language is an asset).
- High proficiency in financial reporting, data analysis, and management reporting.
- Excellent reporting, analytics, and presentation skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset and a “can-do” attitude.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
