Job Description
Netflix Animation Studios is hiring an Associate Technical Supervisor (Back-End) to support the technical vision on an animated feature film. The role will involve shaping and evolving pipeline tools and workflows, providing technical oversight, and supporting creative and visual objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven pipeline TD experience in animated features, animated TV series, and/or VFX feature films
- Strong technical foundation, including solid Python skills, familiarity with data flow/metadata/publishing concepts, and the ability to review code and troubleshoot issues
- Deep understanding of traditional production workflows, tools, and techniques
- Experience with modern software development and collaboration practices, including git/GitHub, code review processes, and Agile methodologies
- Demonstrated strength in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and risk awareness
- Degree in Animation, Film, Computer Science, Design, Engineering, Math, or Physics, or equivalent professional experience in animation/VFX
