We are looking for a talented Technical Support Engineer to join our team at NEUBOX?, the #1 Hosting company in Mexico. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will provide remote support to web hosting clients through Helpdesk systems and via phone, install web open-source applications, and configure and administer hosting accounts for end-users.
Requirements
- Degree in Systems Engineering or related field.
- 2 years of experience in technical support.
- Experience in web hosting support and technical support.
- Knowledge of internet technologies (DNS, HTTP, SMTP, POP3, FTP, SSH, DOMAINS, APACHE, IIS).
- Experience in Helpdesk support.
- Knowledge of servers with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of network protocols, mainly network layer, transport layer, and application layer.
- Configuration of email accounts on mobile, desktop, etc.
- FTP utilities.
- Experience in different configurations in cPanel.
- Configuration and administration of control panels: cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk (knowledge of any).
- Database management (preferably Mysql and SQL).
- Web design and programming (preferably PHP and HTML).
