Director, Field Medical Marketing

At Neurocrine Biosciences, we are seeking a Director, Field Medical Marketing to lead our West Area Field Medical Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing and sales, with a strong background in strategic leadership, marketing, and scientific acumen. The role will involve leading the team in developing and executing comprehensive medical marketing strategies, providing strategic leadership and direction to direct reports, and ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in marketing, business, health policy, scientific or related field
• 12+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing and sales
• Extensive previous managerial experience
• Strong communicator and skilled diplomat in all venues
• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions
• Demonstrated capabilities in the areas of strategic thinking, initiative, problem solving, and creativity
• Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles managing field-based sales or marketing teams
