Job Description
Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking an Associate Scientist, Translational Biology to support projects on-site or off-site. The role will involve independently executing in vivo PK/PD and/or efficacy studies, administering compounds to rodents, and collecting biospecimens. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of scientific principles, methods, and techniques, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in biological sciences preferably related to behavioral neuroscience, pharmacology or biopsychology
- Experience in the handling and dosing of rodents in a laboratory setting
- Strong computer skills
- Good communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Good project management skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
