Job Description
This Associate Scientist position will support preclinical research in the Neurotherapeutics area, with focus on Parkinson’s disease. The selected individual will support the design and execution of experiments to understand the mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases, discover new therapeutic targets and validate novel therapeutic strategies. The role involves in vitro and in vivo studies, handling live rodents, and characterizing collected samples using biochemical, molecular, and immune-based assays.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in biology, molecular biology, neuroscience, or a related biological science
- Experience with in vitro and animal models of brain disorders, histology, tissue preparation, is strongly preferred
