Job Description
NPHY is a service provider for homeless youth in Southern Nevada, serving over hundreds of youth through its programs and outreach. The Direct Care Staff role involves supervising and providing supportive care to at-risk youth, ensuring their safety, and connecting them to appropriate resources. This position requires excellent communication, crisis intervention skills, and a commitment to trauma-informed practices.
Requirements
- Support the Emergency Shelter, Housing, and Safe Place programs.
- Supervise and support overnight, weekends, and holidays.
- Respond to crisis calls and provide trauma-informed interventions.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Complete intake and case file maintenance.
- Provide transportation and ensure youth safety.
- Assist in training and planning goals.
- Complete cleaning and stock pantries.
