Job Description
Nevada State University School of Nursing is seeking a Lecturer of Nursing for a 12-Month position starting fall 2026. The successful candidate will be dedicated to a growing on-the-ground pre-licensure BSN program and work alongside faculty and staff in a highly collegial, interdisciplinary environment based on Caring Science.
Requirements
- Teach 30 credits per academic year across three semesters
- Teach upper-level courses in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program
- Serve on departmental and college-wide committees
- Conduct required weekly office hours
- Be available to students, staff, and faculty
- Student advising
- Participate in college-wide events
- Engage in scholarship of growth and development in accordance with expectations for promotion
- Use experience as a nurse educator to act as a faculty resource
- Other duties as assigned by the Dean of the School of Nursing
