Part Time Instructor - Student Teaching Supervisor

Nevada State University invites applications for an open pool of adjunct faculty for in-person student teaching supervision. The university seeks applicants who are passionate about working with this promising student population and collaborating with faculty and staff across departments to make a lasting impact in developing our institution and our community.

Requirements

• Overseeing the quality of the placement experience for the student teacher.
• Visit the student teacher the equivalency of eight times.
• Establish a cooperative relationship and regular communication with district teacher.
• Serve as the official liaison between the district school and Nevada State University School of Education.
• Complete a mid-term and final evaluations.
• Attend specific seminar classes.
