Multicraft Technician

The Multicraft Technician will be responsible for the upkeep of buildings and mechanical systems, including installation, maintenance, and emergency repairs. The position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and multi-craft maintenance experience. The Multicraft Technician will work in a fast-paced environment and be expected to troubleshoot promptly.

Requirements

• Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment
• Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment
• Inspect machines regularly for malfunctions
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems
• Change bearing, sprockets, rollers, chains, solenoids, air valves and other parts
• Work effectively with other team members in a loud environment
• Frequently will push, pull, carry, and lift 50lbs
• Frequent walking, standing, stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping, and repetitive movements
• Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Make decisions
• Develop options and implement solutions
• Work with a team
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
