Lower & Middle School Coding and Maker Teacher (Grades 1–9)

New Canaan Country School is seeking a Lower & Middle School Coding and Maker Teacher to support and deliver our established maker, robotics, and coding program. The ideal candidate understands how children learn at different developmental stages and brings experience with maker education and robotics.

Requirements

• Experience working with children and adolescents across multiple age groups
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development
• Comfort teaching entry-level and block-based coding
• Experience with maker education and robotics (LEGO-based robotics acceptable)
• Ability to provide basic, student-facing technology support
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
