MEDICAL ASSISTANT

NEW Health is a non-profit primary care provider that seeks a Medical Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have completed medical assistant training and certification through a recognized program. They will be responsible for managing patient care, preparing patients for exams, performing laboratory procedures, and assisting providers with procedures. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task, communicate effectively, and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Completion of medical assistant training through a post-secondary school or college program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education School (ABHES) or the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
• Certification through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistants (CCMA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
• Medical Assistant- Certified credential issued by Washington State Department of Health within 120 days of hire
• Previous experience in a community health clinic
• Experience with EHR preferred
