Office Assistant

New York Institute of Technology's College of Osteopathic Medicine Academic Health Care Center is seeking a full-time Office Assistant to provide exceptional customer service and handle administrative tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiar with electronic health record systems
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• At least two years of preferred Medical Office experience and an understanding of Medical Terminology
• Preferred Medical Assistant Training and/or certification
