Senior Electrical Engineer I

The Senior Electrical Engineer I will provide electrical engineering expertise and direction for equipment and control systems in the Utility generation and transmission of electric power. This role includes developing solutions for electrical power and control systems in various sites, ensuring quality, safety, and reliability. The position requires leadership, problem-solving, and coordination with external entities. The company is looking for candidates to apply their skills to projects of all sizes.

Requirements

• Provide lead engineer function for large or complex projects
• Develop specifications and design packages in accordance with industry standards
• Perform factory or field visits to support design reviews and testing
• Perform emergency response, including outside normal business hours
• Manage technical and commercial aspects of work performed by external entities
• Mentor and provide guidance for junior engineers
• Examine existing conditions and recommend improvements for design and construction
• Oversee operational and revenue meter data collection systems
• Perform emergency response on a 24/7 on-call basis
