Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Nuclear System Thermal-Hydraulics Analyst to perform studies in support of reactor design and safety assessment for our LFR projects in France, Slovakia and the US. The role involves conceptualizing, modelling and analysing thermal hydraulic systems, supporting design activities and thermal-hydraulic code validation activities.
Requirements
- MSc in Nuclear Engineering or other relevant domains
- Robust experience in thermal-hydraulics of single-phase and two-phase flows and heat transfer for nuclear applications
- Sound knowledge of nuclear reactor safety principles
- Proven experience with 1D system thermal-hydraulic codes (e.g. RELAP5, CATHARE, ATHLET)
- Expertise in CFD and liquid metal reactors is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and ability to participate in team meetings and give technical presentations
- Proficient in programming languages (Python, C++,...) for data analysis, post-processing or tool developments
