Ophthalmic Assistant

Newmedica is seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant for their Berkshire site. The role involves assisting in pre-operative and post-operative processes, providing support in diagnostics and theatre, and interacting with patients in a welcoming and empathetic manner. The successful candidate will be comfortable using systems and have strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Previous experience of working with patients or in a customer-facing role
• Knowledge of eye physiology and treatment or a keen interest to build knowledge in this area
• Competent user of all Office 365 programmes and comfortable working on new systems
