Job Description
We are looking for a Scrub Practitioner to join our Cheshire Oaks site. The ideal candidate will have experience in theatre scrub, ophthalmic experience, and the ability to set up for vitrectomy surgery. The role involves providing a competent scrub provision, supporting the surgeon, and ensuring high standards in patient safety and hygiene.
Requirements
- Fully qualified Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
- Current registration with the NMC or HCPC
- Ophthalmic experience in a theatre setting (desirable)
- Extensive theatre scrub experience
- Ability to set up for vitrectomy surgery
- Full understanding of Phaco Instrumentation
- Working knowledge of Biometry/Lens bank/Implants
