Crisis Stabilization Clinician

Newport Mental Health (NMH) is seeking a Master’s Level Clinician or Licensed Registered Nurse to provide community and office-based emergency services to individuals and families of all ages. They aim to improve the lives of their clients by providing high-quality, person-centered recovery services, focusing on safety, well-being, and empowerment. The position emphasizes a crisis intervention and stabilization role.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in human services field or Licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Licensed at the independent practice level as defined by the Rhode Island Department of Health (LICSW) preferred.
• 2+ years of employment experience in community health, crisis stabilization unit, or inpatient psychiatric settings
• 2+ years working with individuals with trauma and substance abuse issues
• Credentialed or eligible to be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional
• Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
