Job Description
Join Nexamp's clean energy movement and contribute to changing the world. As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for reviewing PV and ESS projects design, providing technical expertise, and working closely with the Director of Electrical Engineering.
Requirements
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience
- 4+ years of PV experience
- PE certification
- Utility scale design and HV substation experience, preferred
- NABCEP certification preferred
- ETAP, SKM, or AmpCalc modeling experience
- Familiarity with AcSELerator and RDB generation
- Familiarity of PSSE, Aspen, or PSCAD modeling experience
- Expertise industry standard design codes such as National Electric Code (NEC), International Building Code (IBC), International Fire Code, National Electric Safety Code (NESC), and other industry standards
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles, including medium voltage distribution, protection system coordination and relaying principles
- Knowledge of construction means and methods
- Valid Driver's License or ability to obtain same
