Job Description
The Counsel team is a close-knit and collaborative team that supports the entire Nextdoor community. As Commercial Counsel, you'll be a trusted commercial lawyer and a systems builder, designing and building scalable systems, workflows, and self-service resources to reduce legal bottlenecks and empower business teams to move faster without sacrificing quality or risk posture.
Requirements
- Provide day-to-day advice and counsel in commercial transactions
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts
- Design and build scalable systems, workflows, and self-service resources
- Identify, evaluate, pilot, and operationalize AI tools and emerging technologies
- Develop and maintain contract review playbooks and templates
- Support internal clients through the art of deal making and contracting
- Collaborate cross-functionally across the organization
