PGD Engineer - Mountain Wind Region

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a highly motivated and energetic engineer to join our PGD Wind Reliability team. As a reliability engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize wind turbine performance, increase reliability, and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's - Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
• Experience: 2+ years
• FE certification or PE License
• Six Sigma Certified – Green Belt or Black Belt
• Field power generation operations experience or prior experience supporting field operations
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Expertise in wind turbine component failure modes (gearbox, blades, bearings, electrical systems)
• Experience in Enterprise Asset Management systems (e.g. Maximo) and PowerBI Development
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills across various internal and external stakeholder groups
• Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including wind, solar, and energy storage systems
• Experience with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs and tools such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, and infrared thermography
