Job Description
NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a Principal Power Generation Engineer - NERC CIP to support Industrial Control System (ICS) in the NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) space. The role will work with subject matter experts on ICS security design, configuration, and maintenance in operational technology (OT) environments. Candidates will leverage their technical understanding of network infrastructure, security appliances, and security control configurations within ICS environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's - Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
- 6+ years of experience
- Advanced experience and understanding of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standard requirements
- Experience implementing BES security control programs and projects
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working with cybersecurity and vulnerability assessment processes
- Experience with security baselining across OT technology environments
- Risk management experience
