Lead Water-Wastewater Treatment Operator

Nexus Water Group is hiring a Lead Water-Wastewater Treatment Operator to oversee the operation and maintenance of water treatment equipment, ensuring compliance with state and federal environmental protection limits. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in utility management or the utility industry, with knowledge of local, state, and Federal wastewater regulations. The job involves independent travel, physical demands, and exposure to various hazards.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 5 years progressive experience working in utility management or the utility industry
• Knowledge of local, state, and Federal wastewater regulations
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and under limited supervision
• Ability to mentor and guide co-workers
• Ability to motivate others in pursuit of Company goals
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical demands
• Ability to read and comprehend written technical information
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Familiarity with computer applications (MS Word, Excel, tablet, and mobile device)
