Building Inspector (Role 2)

Role Overview

As a Building Inspector, you will be a key member of our inspection service team, collaborating with registered builders to ensure homes meet NHBC Standards and Building Regulations. You will foster exceptional customer relationships, champion NHBC's value, and make a lasting impact on the construction landscape.

What You Will Do

You will work with registered builders to ensure new homes meet NHBC Standards, Building Regulations, and other relevant legislation. You will build excellent working relationships with site managers, identify and prevent construction defects, and manage insurance risk.

Requirements

• Significant and relevant house-building or construction experience
• Ability to listen, build rapport, establish credibility and build effective working relationships
• Influence, and deal with potential disagreements in an assertive manner that maintain relationships
• Ability to gather and analyse information to support decision making
• Able to describe the house building process and how the trades interact with each other
• A full Driving licence is required for this role
