Job Description
Nift is looking for a Staff Accountant to support accounting operations, contribute to month-end close, and assist in audit preparation. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of general accounting experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Requirements
- Own day-to-day accounting operations
- Review and approve AP/AR entries for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and post month-end close journal entries
- Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the monthly close process
- Assist with audit preparation
- Partner closely with the Senior Accountant and broader Finance team
- Support the transition of accounting functions from outside accounting firm to inhouse
