Manager, Cost Accounting

Role Overview

The Manager, Cost Accounting will lead core cost accounting, financial reporting, and POC revenue recognition processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions. This role partners closely with operations, project management, and leadership to drive performance, improve processes, and enhance financial visibility across the organization.

What You Will Do

Lead month-end close activities, manage balance sheet integrity, lead revenue recognition processes, monitor and analyze project financials, manage contract-related accounts, and drive cost accounting activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of accounting/finance experience
• Strong experience with POC / ASC 606 revenue recognition
• Experience in project-based or long-term contract environments
• Solid understanding of cost accounting and margin analysis
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
