Job Description
The Law & Regulation Associate Staff Attorney provides legal advice and support to NJM’s Contract Management and Regulatory Compliance teams, as well as NJM’s Corporate and General Counsel. Review of third party and vendor agreements, provision of legal advice, regulatory guidance, and support for internal business unit initiatives are among the key duties and responsibilities of this role.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree
- License to practice law in the state of New Jersey
- 0-5 years of legal and/or property casualty insurance experience
- Critical thinking skills and business judgment
- Ability to work independently on projects
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to make decisions, propose solutions, and solve problems
- Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to customer service
