Job Description
Electro-Optical Software Engineers execute and lead final software and firmware integration for deliverable systems, and are responsible for design, development, integration, and test of High Energy Laser (HEL) Weapon System and/or HEL Beam Control System (BCS).
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field (advanced degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in software development, firmware integration, and electro-optical systems
- Experience in Python and/or C# and motivation to expand capability
- Expertise in working with laser and electro-optical systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills to solve complex and constrained opto-mechanical alignment problems
- Technical report writing and documentation skills
