Product Engineer - Fiber Lasers

The Product Engineer is charged with oversight of all aspects of product life cycle, including NPI, performance metrics, and schedules to enable next-generation product realization at nLIGHT. The preferred candidate will have experience in photonics, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing best-in-class laser products.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical, Optical, or Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
• 5+ years of commercial/industrial laser industry experience
• Project Management competency
• Ability to coordinate teams across organizational boundaries and work within a matrix organization
• Direct Optical, Laser, Mechanical, and/or Electrical design experience
