Senior Counsel, Commercial

nLIGHT is a leading provider of high-power semiconductors and fiber lasers for industrial, microfabrication, and aerospace & defense applications. The company is looking for a Senior Counsel (Commercial) to provide advice and legal counsel to the executive leadership team and all functional teams on a broad range of matters, focusing on supporting the commercial business of the company.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required and admitted to at least one state bar with active membership in good standing
• 8-10 years of relevant corporate and commercial legal experience with prior in-house experience
• Ability to register as in-house counsel as necessary
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a personal security clearance as necessary
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% travel time

• Salary, level based on experience, education and skills: Senior Counsel (Commercial): $170,000-200,000
