Division Manager/Financial Control & Management Division is responsible for financial accounting, expense control, financial and regulatory reporting, taxation, management reporting, planning and analysis. The position holder will provide leadership and managerial direction, engage external auditors, regulators, and tax authorities, and transform finance processes and controls.
Requirements
- Experience in accounting, planning&analysis, consulting, auditing or a similar field in Financial/Insurance Industry
- Good understanding of life insurance financial matters
- Extensive working experience (more than five years) in accounting, financial controlling or financial analysis and planning function in a managerial and leadership position
- Possesses technical expertise ā knowledge of accounting rules (JGAAP, IFRS), Tax and various regulations of insurance business
- Has good soft skills such as problem solving, time management, people management, leadership capability
- Good understanding of actuarial knowledge, expense management and management reporting
- Strong mind set of process improvement and transformation
- Experience as a project and program lead managing mid to long term process change
- Must be bilingual (English and Japanese)
- Good understanding of accounting processes and of internal controls
- Exceptional financial, strategic thinking, analytical skills and negotiation skill
