Assistant Rig Manager

The Assistant Rig Manager supports the Rig Manager by providing drilling expertise and leadership to ensure rig operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with contractual and operator requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of offshore experience
• Effective drilling operations management and leadership skills
• Ability to promote a ‘ safe and efficient’ culture
• Good working knowledge of general drilling systems for offshore based operations
• Working knowledge of HSE practices common to the company and the industry
• Leadership and teamwork skills and behaviors which support a team based organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand and react with diverse groups and operations
• Ability to recognize and resolve conflict
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Travel is an essential job function (domestic, international and offshore)
