The Inventory Purchasing Coordinator supports procurement and inventory operations at Letterkenny Army Depot by managing purchasing activities, supplier communications, inventory documentation, and order fulfillment tracking in a highly regulated environment.
Requirements
- Manage purchasing activities including supplier communications, request-for-quote (RFQ) follow-ups, and expediting purchase order (PO) shipments
- Process vendor acknowledgements, review required purchasing documentation, and close out purchase orders in approved purchasing systems
- Receive, receipt, and cross-dock materials; ensure accurate system entries and documentation
- Review and resolve shipping discrepancies, including coordination with vendors and internal teams
- Support internal customers by responding to inquiries related to purchasing and inventory status
- Assist buyers, storefront personnel, program managers, and other depot staff as needed
- Perform data entry, run status and inventory reports, and maintain organized purchasing records
- Conduct customer checkouts and support storefront or administrative functions as required
- Perform general administrative and purchasing support duties consistent with depot operations
