IT Service Specialist

As an IT Service Specialist, you will develop, run, and maintain IT systems and platforms, and provide remote support to users regarding hardware and software problems. You will ensure overall business continuity, quality assurance, and performance of the IT service(s) and evaluate and translate business needs.

• Develops and maintains applications to meet business needs
• Covers performance and monitoring of day-to-day database and system activities
• Provides remote support to users regarding hardware and software problems
• Ensures overall business continuity, quality assurance, and performance of the IT service(s)
• Evaluates and translates business needs
• Drives continuous improvement activities and ensures agreed deliverables will be achieved on time and within budget
• Monitors IT delivery performance, end-to-end, through agreed KPIs
• Acts as a senior specialist in a team and serves as a best practice resource within own organisational unit
