Job Description
The Board Governance and Administration Manager provides support to the Board of Directors and the CEO/Executive Director. This position manages board elections, committee appointments, the Board’s online Web presence, and maintenance of associated databases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in association governance work or a related field
- Administrative experience, preferably in the non-profit sector
- Ability to meet multiple tight deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to draw inferences and make connections
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple assignments
- Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in website management and capable of basic HTML programming and database management with training
- Ability to travel to offsite board meetings and conferences at least twice per year as applicable
