The Wind Turbine Technician Advisor will play a crucial role in HSE compliance, guiding and advising the client's Balance of Plant contractor to achieve required quality standards during installation and commissioning of the wind turbine.

Requirements

• HSE Compliance: Ensure proactive HSE compliance throughout the WTG installation and commissioning process, reporting any deviations.
• Quality Guidance: Advise the client's BOP contractor to adhere to Nordex quality standards for a smooth transfer to commissioning, customer service, and maintenance.
• Technical Support: Leverage solid technical knowledge to provide general support on all mechanical and electrical activities of the client's BOP contractor and Nordex contractors.
• Reporting: Document and report any quality or timing deviations observed during installation, commissioning, and maintenance of WTG/WF using the UPVISE system.
• Mechanical Work Supervision: Ensure all mechanical works are executed according to installation instructions and maintenance requirements of the equipment, reporting any deviations.
• Tool Management: Supervise the receipt, use, and return of Nordex tools, ensuring they are used and ready throughout the project.
• Quality Inspection and Control: Perform various quality inspections and controls such as incoming goods, quality gate, and customer visits to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Documentation Support: Assist in managing necessary documentation for handover to the client and BOP contractor.
• Client Relations: Establish and maintain a positive relationship with the client's BOP contractor to facilitate project execution.
• Daily Reports: Actively manage daily step reports of UPVISE, providing real-time updates on supervised activities.
• Other Assigned Tasks: Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
