As a Technical Advisor - Wind Farm, you will support the company's mission to develop and deliver clean energy power plants. You will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, provide technical expertise, and advise clients and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience accepted.
- Experience in quality management and control processes; experience in wind turbine assembly preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of supervision experience in mechanical, electrical, or construction fields; wind farm mechanical construction experience preferred.
- Required experience in WTG site assembly.
- Excellent technical knowledge, communication skills, and ability to establish positive relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Microsoft Office suite knowledge required.
- Proficiency in French is strongly preferred for working in Quebec.
- Must be able to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship and have the ability to obtain a US passport.
- Ability to spend 100% of time in wind farms during the construction process.
- Driving is an essential function of the job. Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy. This position will be subject to periodic driver abstract checks to confirm maintainability.
- Ability to meet the 120 kg (265 lb) or less weight requirement to safely use the climbing equipment and climbing equipment.
- Ability to successfully satisfy all Canadian regulatory requirements regarding pre-employment screening.
