As a Site Quality Technician, you will work in conjunction with PM Operations on the implementation of corporate quality standards, operating procedures, training, internal auditing, and analytical technology across the site to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and product quality for the protection of our business.
Requirements
- Serves as on-site subject matter expert regarding Nordex IMS
- Applies standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation and provides input for continuous improvement of these standards.
- Prepares reports for the Quality Lead, Site Manager and the Quality Manager summarizing the status of all quality issues and activities on site.
- Trains contracted quality inspectors on-site and direct their day-to-day activities.
- Perform and document process audits of all site activities ensuring documented process are followed.
- Create Nonconformities for processes and materials found to deviate from instructions and specifications
- Manage Nonconformities by updating with new information, communicating with Nordex Engineering, Repair teams and other involved with nonconformity.
- Other duties as assigned.
