Job Description
Contract Administrator role involves ensuring contractors and owners fulfill their roles and obligations in construction projects, providing document clarifications, and reviewing financial progress. The role also assists design and technical staff with constructability reviews and feedback.
Requirements
- Perform site visits to determine compliance with construction contract and relevant building and safety codes
- Track and review shop drawings, schedules, samples, progress payments, alternate requests, and project change documents
- Coordinate with contractor, sub-consultants, or relevant building authorities to address and document issues with constructability or owner concerns
- Prepare project change documentation, including sketches and drawings
- Attend and conduct progress meetings before, during, and after the duration of the project
