North America Construction (1993) Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Project Superintendent to join their team on the Dalewood Water Reclamation Facility project in St. Thomas, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have experience working on heavy industrial projects, particularly water and wastewater treatment plants.
Requirements
- Construction related degree/diploma & 3-5 years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training & experience.
- Experience in design build projects is an asset.
- Strong ability to manage subcontractors.
- Knowledge of the various construction disciplines (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical), safety regulations, scheduling, planning, document control, cost control & engineering drawings.
- Able to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes and produce workable solutions.
- Able to lead a large team to successful completion.
- Strong communication, integration, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to health and safety in the workplace.
- Results-oriented with the ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and timelines.
