Civil Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Superintendent to execute the concrete program at the Dalewood Water Reclamation Facility project in St. Thomas, ON. The successful candidate will have experience working on heavy construction projects, ideally Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants.

Requirements

• Civil trade certification
• 15 plus years of construction experience
• A minimum of 10 years of trades supervisory experience
• Strong background in Concrete Placing and the use of Advanced Formsystems
• Strong technical and Operational skills in the field
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient with Excel/software for labour tracking and productivity planning
• Experience in managing direct labour and sub-contractors
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health, Safety Act
• Ability to lead and assess trade performance on the job
• Strong communication (verbal & written), problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Results-oriented with the ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and timelines
