Job Description
North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is seeking an Instrumentation Superintendent to supervise daily maintenance activities related to instrumentation and SCADA systems. The position requires experience in process control and/or measurement systems, and a valid Electrical Apprentice license is preferred.
Requirements
- Maintains a program of repair and preventive maintenance for SCADA, PLCs, radios, at facilities owned by the NTMWD.
- Coordinates with other departments, NTMWD inspectors and contractors on project repairs and modifications.
- Analyzes work orders and problems, estimates job requirements, and authorizes corrective action, materials and labor.
- Directly supervises a group of Instrumentation Technicians and maintenance shop assistants.
- Assist the Electrical Maintenance Manager in the day to day needs of the department.
- Attend daily/weekly, and monthly meetings as needed.
- Available to receive after hours calls to assist in emergency repairs.
