The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is a regional public utility that delivers water, wastewater, and solid waste services to over 2 million residents across 2,200 square miles in North Texas. Its core operations include water collection, treatment, and distribution, as well as advanced wastewater treatment and solid waste disposal. NTMWD distinguishes itself through a pioneering water-reuse program that operates the largest man-made wetlands in the country, naturally polishing treated wastewater and augmenting regional water supplies while preserving local ecosystems. The district's commitment to water conservation, sustainability, and community partnership positions it as a leader in delivering reliable, environmentally responsible utilities. Employees thrive in a culture that values innovation, public service, and long-term stewardship of the region's water resources.
