Job Description
North Texas Municipal Water District is seeking a Safety Supervisor to plan, organize, assign, supervise and participate in the work of staff who deliver the District’s safety programs and safety training. The role ensures effective practices are in place to minimize occupational injuries, illnesses, and vehicle collisions, and to maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in risk management, safety management, public health, process safety engineering, chemical safety engineering, industrial hygiene, or a related STEM field
- Minimum of five years of experience in safety, accident prevention and loss control programs
- At least two years in a supervisory role
- National Accredited Certification such as a Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional, Registered Safety Engineer, or Certified Marine Chemist
