Job Description
North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is seeking a Laboratory Manager to oversee all aspects of the laboratory, including laboratory analysis, budgeting, and personnel management. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in biology/chemistry and 5 years of experience in laboratory supervision.
Requirements
- High mathematical ability
- Developing mechanical abilities to operate and maintain complex laboratory instruments
- Membership in the Texas Water Utilities Association and the North Texas Lab Analysts Association (desirable)
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Experience in all areas of laboratory analysis and possess a general working knowledge with the various test procedures and methodologies used
- Sufficient experience in both a laboratory environment and in a previous supervision role
