Lead Wastewater Plant Operator

North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is seeking a Lead Wastewater Plant Operator to perform, plan, organize, manage, and supervise the operation, maintenance, renewal, and monitoring of wastewater facilities and associated systems.

Requirements

• Collaborate with Plant Supervisor and Lead Wastewater Plant Operator(s) to manage treatment operators
• Monitor facility operations, collect and test samples, and read instrumentation (SCADA) to ensure compliant and efficient operations
• Perform and manage a range of treatment facility activities including operation of equipment, maintenance, monitoring systems, and record keeping
• Train, lead, and mentor staff
• Create service requests for needed repairs and renewal
• Maintain thorough logs and records in both written and electronic form
